✧ I reserve the right to decline any request that I am uncomfortable with.

✧ I will not draw anything explicit, offensive or innappropriate.

✦ PAYMENT

✧ I will send you an invoice via Paypal. You do not need a paypal to pay the invoice.

✧ Full payment must be paid upfront.

✧ I will not begin working on the commission until it is fully paid.

✦ REVISIONS

✧ Major vs Minor Revisions:

​

✦ Minor Revisions

✧ These are revisions of any mistakes I make due to oversight, or small modifications to any attributes of the individual.

✧ Minor revisions can be made throughout each stage of the WIP process and once the commission is finalized, due to some discrepancies that may occur in the final.

 

✦ Major Revisions

✧ These are revisions where I have to redraw a part of the image, like completely changing any attributes of the individual (like changing the hairstyle, clothes, expression) or pose.

✧ Major revisions can be made in the first stage of the WIP.

✧ Major revisions can not be made once the commission has been finalized. 

 

✧ Please try to request multiple revisions at once.

✧ I encourage you to be upfront about revisions! I will not be inconvenienced by any revisions you request. Having said that, please be reasonable with your revisions. There is a limit to how many revisions can be made. I can’t give an exact number since this is a collaborative effort between you and I, but if I feel like there is an excessive amount of revisions requested I will let you know, and any further revisions will be denied.

✦ WORK IN PROGRESS

✧ A work in progress will be sent to you in 1-3 weeks or longer, depending on my queue.

✧ The work in progress is divided into 2 stages:

✦ Stage 1

✧ I will send you a sketch of the pose for approval of the pose and expression. For this reason, the sketch in this stage will be bare bones, with just the expression and pose mapped out.

 

✧ You can make 2 changes to the pose or expression. Please understand that these are 2 revisions that can be made, not 2 additional poses or expressions to choose from. As long as you let me know why the revision needs to be made, we can come up with a better pose or expression.

 

✧ *PLEASE NOTE: Revisions to the pose can NOT be made once it is approved.

 

✦ Stage 2

✧ I will send you a refined version of the sketch with color. This is more or less what the final commission will look like. 

✧ You may request any minor revisions in this stage.

✦ DEADLINES AND DELIVERY

✧ Turn around is 1-4 months depending on my queue.

✧ I will let you know if there are any delays. 

✧ If you need a commission done by a specific date, please specify in the application. Rush fees may apply (See Commission Listings & Info for details)

✦ INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

✧ Artist rights

☆ I retain all rights to the commissioned work, which includes printing, advertising and display of the commissioned work online.

 

✧ Client rights

✧ You receive personal usage rights for the commissioned work. For commercial usage rights, see section: commercial fees

✧ You are free to post the commissioned work online as long as you credit me. (Credit to marshiyan)

✧ You can not edit the commissioned work unless you receive permission from me.

✦ COMMERCIAL FEES

✧ Commercial usage is the usage of the commissioned work for monetary gain by advertisement, promotion or resale. Examples include, but are not limited to, merchandise, advertisements, books, albums for sale, TV programs, commercial films, streaming, and paid journals.

 

✧ You may purchase commercial usage rights by emailing me at marisayhan@gmail.com at any given time for an additional fee of 100% the base price. (Ex: Full body base price = 80 USD, Commercial rights fee = 80 USD)

✦ REFUNDS

✧ Refunds of the commissioned work can NOT be requested after the commission is finalized. 

✧ You may request a refund of the commissioned work if:

✧ The commission has not been delivered within 3 months after payment, if I have not informed you of any delay, and if we have not agreed upon an amended delivery date.

✧ You have paid a rush fee and the commission has not been delivered by the requested deadline, I have not informed you of any delay and we have not agreed upon an amended delivery date.

 

✧ Rush fee refund

✧ I will refund you the rush fee if I am unable to deliver the commissioned work by the requested deadline. If we agree on an amended delivery date, you can choose to proceed with the commission or request a full refund. If you choose to proceed with the commission you will NOT be refunded for the commission.
